Alan Rosenhan

Assistant Climbing Instructor

Alan was born and raised in the shadow of the Wasatch mountains. After living and working in Washington, Alaska, the Middle East, Georgia, and North Carolina, he returned to Midvale, UT to make his home with his wife, three sons, and dog. He’s trying to get back to North Carolina as soon as he can, though. Though a child of the suburbs, he grew up hiking, fishing, and hunting around the state of Utah and makes it a point to spend as much time outdoors as he can, no matter where he lives. Already huge fan of enthusiastically exploring the outdoors, OCO founder Mike Cumming got him into rock climbing which added a while new dimension to exploring nature. As a highly motivated U.S. Army Lieutenant, Alan lives by Daniel Boone’s epigram; “I have never been lost but I was bewildered once for three days.”
